Position: Eligibility list for Patrol Officer for the Harvey Police Department. Salary: Determined per existing contract. Applications: Applications may be obtained at the Harvey Police Department, located at 15301 Dixie Highway, on or after May 7, 2012, until 10 am, Friday June 15, 2012. Anyone may pick up the application for another individual. Applications must be on application forms provided by the Harvey Civil Service Commission. No other form will be accepted. No application will be accepted unless accompanied by a copy of applicant's birth certificate; driver's license; high school diploma (or G.E.D. equivalency certificate); college degree; state certification (if already a state certified police officer); and, honorable discharge, or service record, if applicable. A seventy-five dollar ($75.00) non-refundable filing fee must be submitted with each application in the form of cash or certified funds. Applicants must be 21 at the time of employment.
